Can't waste the ceral!

SO Paislee wanted some of the captain crunch ceral that was on the counter, but SOME HOW it all ended up on the floor! So after hearing the "oh no momma" I told her to get the vaccum and clean it up. Next thing I knew she was vaccumming and Austin was stuffing if face as fast as he could- trying to eat it all before she vacummed it up. When I asked him what he was doing he said that he was really hungry so he had to hurry and eat the ceral before the vacum got all the good stuff!! Oh kids, they are such a hoot!

Dallas' new adventures

Dallas has discovered snowmobling! He has two buddies that go quite often and Dallas has been going along with them. Then he found a great deal on two sleds and a trailer that he just COULDN'T pass up!! uh-huh!! So now he goes every chance he gets, but uses the excuse that he is going horn hunting (looking for antlers that the animals have shed) He has actually found a big moose and white tail deer shed, so its pretty cool. Besides I enjoy the pictures that he brings back!

The Incredible expanding bed

We got a new bed!!! After just two years of sleeping on a horrible bed and lots of research we got a new bed from costco. We are loving it and its only been about 5weeks. Its a memory foam bed that came compressed in this box. Dallas and I stood at Costco looking at this box going... " ummm ok so a king size mattress is all folded up in this box huh!?? " So we got home threw our old mattress out ( in fact it went into the back of the truck ready to be hauled off to the dump, in the morning we found our big yellow lab, TANK, asleep on it! Glad some one enjoyed a nice bed for the night!) and opened up the box. Then we Literally dumped it out onto the box springs and watched it GROW! It was the coolest thing, totally reminds me of those little pill capsules that you put into water and then they grow into shapes or animals! It took about 5-10 mins for it to totally unfold and 3 days for it to fully take "shape". Although we did sleep on it the first night and was fine. Its hard as a rock when you first get in, then within about a minute your body heat melts the mattress around you and you've got yourself a wonderful bed! It took me a good 4 nights to totally fall in love and Dallas was in love within the first night. I can't believe how wonderful it is and how nice it is to wake up feeling refreshed, even after a couple hours. Dallas has had a back that doesn't hurt! SO WORTH the money and I would totally recommend it to anyone.

Christmas in Pasco

We had a great Christmas this year. We spent a week in Pasco. Ate a ton, played hard everyday, laughed at the kids and eachother ( memory of the trip cowboy, turtle, mountains!!). Dad and Mom surprised the boys with a trip to Sitka, Alaska to go fishing. One of Dallas' must do's in life. I've known since about Septmeber and was able to keep my mouth shut ( major shocker- I know!!) So it was SO MUCH fun watching him open the present. Mom made Dallas and Brian Fish pillow cases, made a flyer that explained what the trip was, then put all of it in a box with a fish hook to top it off! It was great.... Dallas was SO excited. The count down is on. Then to top things off, and I wasn't even expecting it. We have been playing a trip to Disney for about 3yrs now and decided that this Thanksgiving would be the time to go. So the very last gift was Disney pj's for the kids and then disney park hopper tickets! I cried.... no more like sobbed like a baby. I was so excited!! Thanks mom and dad your the best! Its going to be a great 2011.

Ok I have to bragg. I was asked to do all of Shiloh's wedding flowers. They turned out SO BEAUTIFUL. I was really proud. My little hobby started with my wedding - I helped with my flowers and that was my first experiance with floral arrangements. Then helped with my sister Carly ( sister in-law)and Brian's wedding. Then did my other Sister Linley's wedding. Then a friend from work. Then flew solo with Shiloh's wedding. Her colors purple and yellow looked great together, especailly against the white and black dress of the wedding. Although, finding the yellow roses was almost a bust. We ( Lisa, linley and I) went out for about 3 hours (around 11am) on Thursday for flowers. We gathered all of them but the Yellow roses - the only roses really used inthe arrangements. WHY could we not find these roses? Well it was a busy weekend for weddings, homecoming and the biggest reason. The shipment of roses that were to be delivered to the floral stores were stuck on trucks FROZEN! Yes, frozen... seriously. You've got to be kidding. So after visisting almost every store and floral shop I finally found the last 5 dozen ( possibly) yellow roses in all of Spokane at a Safeway on the South hill. So I asked the lady to hold 3 dozen and I hurridly drove there and purchased two dozen roses! Yes and by 10pm I was done and happy! Packed up the kids, who had a wonderful day of no naps and playing with cousins and went home. I don't think I had put the car in reverse and they were out!

Where to even begin... A very busy summer

Austin's First Baseball Game at Safeco Field! Go Mariners ( even though they suck! ) The second weekend in July we drove up to Seattle to meet up with my parents, and went to the Thursday - Friday games of the M's against the Yankees! It was fun and exciting, especailly to watch Austin take it all in. First night was a little rough, he got antsy and impatient by the end of the game. But the second night he did great. Plus we were toward the end of potty training so we visited the bathroom often. Yes Austin is now totally potty trained ! I really thought it would never happen, but it has. It was like somebody just flipped his switch and bam he is potty trained. He is still wearing a diaper at night, but first thing in the morning he goes pee. YIPPEE

Friday: Dad, Mom, Dallas and I went to the Boeing Musuem of Flight, in Seattle. It was actually really interestting. My dad is a major museum and "dam" tour buff, so when he said lets go to the flight museum we just thought "oh great another "dam" tour!" but like I said, it ended up being a great day. The original boeing barn is there and several different war airplanes. One of the Air Force One planes. A concord, the fastest passanger plane. unfortunetly my mom has alot better pictures that I haven't gotten from her yet. Like one of Dallas and I, also of my Mom and Dad standing at the top of the stairs on Air Force One, waving like the President and First lady! It was great!

Mothers Day we went for a drive after sacrament. Since we have One o'clock sacrament, we left early and went for a wonderful drive. We went about an hour 1/2 North, which in the end took us to the Canadian boarder. We found a forest service road that is wide enough for only one vehicle. It is a forty mile stretch of road that goes from a lake ( Sullivan lake) all the way to Priest River, ID. It is a road that Dallas has always heard of and was told that it is the most beautiful drive but to bring a chainsaw cause it can get pretty rough.... actually it would make the best 4-wheeling road. I can't wait to go back up with the 4-wheelers. Anyways, we got about 21miles into the road, when we hit snow! I couldn't believe it. So we barely made the turn around and headed back down the mountian. There are signs all over warning you about bears. Grizzly and brown bear territory ~ OH MY!

Uncle Kasey taught Austin how to go up to the port-a-pottie and knock on the door! Luckily it was just our family he was doing it too. When it was G-ma Jenkinson's turn Austin went up to it and tried to "blow" it down. It was the best, we were all laughing so hard!

Seattle Trip: part 1 of 2

so last weekend Dallas, Linda, the kids and I packed up the car and went to Seattle for a much needed getaway! We left Thursday right after i got home from work and stayed at Linley and Kasey's till Sunday. It was a TON of FUN . I have a ton more pictures to post, but I'm trying to get them all into collages . Friday was our first day, we spent it at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. I was the kid's first trip to a zoo. WOW - it great. Austin had a blast. Thanks linley and Kasey for a great weekend.

Happy Blessing Day

The Last weekend of March Paislee and I flew to Utah to visit Brian, Carly and the girls. It was also the weekend of Emery's Blessing... the best part.... finally meeting my newest little niece! It was great, too short, but I'm already planning my next trip. It was Paislee's first airplane ride, she did great. We sat next to the window and two older ladies joined us. One was just about to turn 60 and the other just turned 80! They were awesome, Miss P sat on my lap the whole time, till about the last 20 mins she got antsy and then fell asleep. I waited till we were the last off the plane, before trying to get out with a sleeping baby and still having to pick up all the toys on the floor! ( good thing there are awesome stewardess on the plane to help) as we got off the plane the stroller was all set up and ready for me to put P into it. She stayed asleep all through baggage claim and Brian picking us up. Sunday after the blessing, we rode home with my parents, who had been enjoying a week in Peoria, AZ at Mariner's spring training. My boys came down to Pasco to pick P and I up.

Happy reunion. This was longest amount of time I have spent away from Austin- way too long I missed him so it was so great to see him and my hubby. The reaction between Austin and Paislee was great... they actually hugged eachother.

So this was about three weeks... but oh well just a little behind. It takes forever for my kids hair to grow - therefore this was his first major haircut at 2 1/2 years old. He has had simple little hair cuts .... like above his ear so that its not growing over. But we actually cut about three inches off. It was exciting, Dallas did most of it with the buzzers and then I touched it up. Austin cried when he saw his hair all over the floor... it was really funny. Then when we were all done I just looked at him and thought " What have we done? One he looks all grown up now, and two... where have all his pretty curls gone? " That is the sad part. He has the prettiest curly hair, so I'm hoping it will come back.... soon.

Our First Picture! Born Paislee Marie Jenkinson 2-25-2009 8# 12.5 ounces 20" long at 7:34 am. It was an exciting birth. A side from giving birth via C-section, Daddy almost fainted because mommy made him look and he saw mommy's insides ( "thats just wrong" daddy says!) so he had to step out and then CRASH went an intern who was watching her first C- section - she came inches from wacking a table with her head , but was fine! Then dad made it back just in time to hear me cry.

Over New Years we went to my parents in Pasco for our second Christmas, it was quiet but GREAT. Grandpa spoiled Austin with Baseball stuff, I should say with Mariners baseball stuff! I have a new niece!! I don't know why I didn't post this sooner, but my baby brother, Brian and his wife Carly had their second child, a baby girl.

Emery Paige Dilley was born December 12, at 6:55 am. She was a couple weeks early,but wieghed in at 5 lbs 10 oz 18.5 inches long
My parents went down to Provo, for about a week. Over Christmas, to visit the new little addition, I must say that I was SO JEALOUS. I wanted to go so bad, thats the crappy thing about living 12 hrs away from family. You can't just jump into a car and go visit any time you want. I'm told she looks like her mommy, but with Brian's dark hair! Unlike her big sister Aven who has the prettiest strawberry blond hair... but SHHHH... Brian doesn't believe his daughter has red hair!!

The Holidays

Merry Christmas everyone! Our family had a great Christmas- we spent it at home, all of the Jenkinson crew came out to the house - 32 - in all. Christmas morning we opened family presents, then later that day when all the cousins arrived we did the gift exchange and dinner! We had SO much fun, this was the first Christmas that Austin really enjoyed and had an idea of what was going on. His biggest gifts were a toy double barrel shot gun that makes shooting noises, a nurf gun with suction cup bullets and then a bow an arrow. He had a hard decided which to play with! Miss Paislee's first Christmas- she was so funny. She got this girl froggy that counts and sings, she got so excited when we opened it. She started laughing and clapping= priceless. Then we ate way too much, played games and stayed up late looking through Saturday ads for any good sales that would be going on!!

So we had material everywhere up to the last hour of Christmas eve!!

A crisp chilly afternoon. Austin playing with our new dog Tank, a two year old yellow lab. Tank is alot like our first Chocolate Lab - Jake, he loves to chase after tennis balls and then go find a pool or puddle of water and lay in it. It is so funny. Dallas will hit a tennis ball with the bat, Tank will go and fetch it and then on the way back go for a swim!

Austin watched Tank run through the puddle, so he needed to do the same! Keep in mind it is about 40 degrees out!

Just thought I would post some random pictures of the kids that I have taken in the last two days! Paislee is growing up- she has two bottom teeth and one that I can barely feel on the top. She is starting to sit up without falling over... granted she is still leaning forward and not completly up straight, but still she is doing it! She rolls every where, in fact the other morning I laid her on her blanket and left the room for a couple of minutes. When I came back in she was no where in site! I called out her name, I heard some noises coming from under a table the is up against the wall in the t.v. room. So I got down and looked under. She just gave me a big smile! She had rolled completly under the table and couldn't go anywhere else! Austin , Austin , Austin! Where do I begin, he is such an active little man that keeps us laughing ALL the time. He is potty training... some days are better than others, but he is doing it. When he has to go, he strips down, runs into the bathroom and sits on the potty. The other day, he went pee, and to celebrate he clapped his hands, gave a thumbs up follow by a YeeHaw! I laughed so hard I almost had to go to the bathroom! Currently he is OBSESSED with Bambi, the movie. He watches it everyday, sometimes 5 times a day. Grandma jenks and I have tried to get him to watch other shows, but nope, it has to be Bambi. He is now to the point that he can recite a line that is about to come up. He will also go around the house saying, " ELK.... shoot, Elk" is he his father's son or what! Every once and while I will " mooother, Moother" coming out of his room, just like young Bambi does when he is calling for his mom! In fact we have dragged out a little t.v. with a vcr, put it in his room so that when he wants to watch his movie he can go in there and watch it. He will, all by himself. Dallas even built him a little table that he can sit at. Dallas and I were watching a t.v show the other night, called "Dirty Jobs" we started laughing. Out of nowhere, Austin comes running in, stands in front of us with his hands 0n his hips. Looks at us and says " NICE" and nodds his head! Dallas and I just looked at eachother and laughed. What a kid we have. Never a dull moment in the Jenkinson house!

So dad and mom have been working very hard on my bedroom. Their bedroom is so big that they decided to put a wall up which would make a new little room... just perfect for me! So dad built a two small walls, mud and taped the dry wall. Then it was time for the primer paint... this is where the fun began! NOT... Mom went to the store and bought all the paint needed for my room, she came home and put two coats of white primer on the new walls. The next day, dad started the stripes that would go behind my crib, but when he went to pull the tape off.... the paint went with it! What a nightmare, all the paint peeled with the tape, we couldn't believe it. So mom scraped off the two walls and then dad started all over because it destroyed the mud and tape job. Through out the next week between mom's new work schedule and Dad starting school, my room got done. My brother Austin also got a new room.... we ALL couldn't be happier. Especially mom and dad cause they are kid free for the first time in two years!!

The Jenkinson-Keller reunion

Family reunion on the Jenkinson side. We spent 4 days in North Bend- near Seattle, at the end of July. We were busy every day... go go go. We got there on a Wednesday. Thursday we all went to lake Sammamish to go boating and play on the beach. It was a blast. Cousins - Scott and Sue McCreedie ( who have 5 kids) brought their boat and inner tubes to pull behind the boat. They made about 5 trips back and forth to the beach to load up 8 people and go out. Mean while back at the beach, we had pizza, watermelon, played in the water and on the swing -play ground area. Oh, and the best part to this whole trip... It was record breaking HOT in Seattle. Wednesday was 107 degrees Thursday was right around 100 , come sunday I think it cooled off to about 90! It was so hot that we stripped Paislee down to her diaper and took her for a swim! She loved the water.

Austin, Linley, Kasey and I took the last boat ride out for the day. Austin fell asleep after about 5 mins, which was the perfect opportunity for me to go tubing! Holy Cow was it a blast.... it has been about 4 years since I have been tubing... just like riding a bike!!
We stopped for a while and went swimming around the boat. Even Austin jumped off the front of the boat down into the water. I couldn't believe it... he loved it, but I got tierd very quickly catching him and then pushing him up the ladder to Linley who would then pull him up the rest of the way, just to have him jump off again.

Day 2 was a day at the "lazy" river = Snoqulamie river. It was so beautiful, right out of a movie- A river runs through it. The water was FREEZING cold, but once you were numb it was great! I couldn't believe how deep it was in some spots. In fact, some of the kids were jumping from the rocks in to the water! Then Dallas, Linley and Kasey went for a walk up the river to check things out... a while later they came back to tell us about waterfalls that they had seen. So a group of us went to check it out. WOW... is all I have to say.
There was a observation deck that over look the lower-first set of falls. Then Dallas decided that it would be cool to go over the railing and stand on the rocks! Then came the Lee's... and over they went, along with Kasey, and cousins Micheal and Minta. James, Shane and Tony Lee brought their goggles and flippers to go diving and see what they could see! Once they were done at those falls they all decided to climb up the falls to the second level. So Linda, Linley, Lisa, Becca, Katie, Josh, Austin, Paislee and I found an "out of the water" trail ( the road) and walked up to met them at the top of the falls. The top was even more amazing. There was several little falls and then a large pool, were our group and several others were diving and flipping into the water. It was great to sit there and watch every one show off!

The last day of adventure, we went to Rattlesnake Lake. It was a big lake surrounded by forest, old stumps coming out of the water, and a huge rock cliff that over looked the lake. If you looked really close or with a camera with a great zoom- you could see hikers up on the ridge! The lake was perfect for canoeing and swimming . We had a perfect shady spot under some trees that allowed us to watch the swimmers in comfort!

My little girl is 5 months old. She is getting so big... and you've got to love her chunky legs! She is 15 lbs 8 oz and about 26 inches long. She is also teething- so she chews on any thing she can get ahold of! She has been a ton of fun- she is giggling, she has the best facial expressions ( especially when Austin comes around ) and Dallas loves making fun of her chunky -ness!!! We love her so much.

Huckleberry Picking

Its Huckleberry season! Last week Dallas, Austin and I jumped into the explorer and drove up to the mountains to go find huckleberries. We have never done this before so we were ready for an adventure. Our drive took us to Boyer Mtn which is about a half hour away, and up a logging trail. Then we just pulled over, Dallas jumped out and hiked up the hill to see if it was a good spot, and it was, so Austin and I joined him. Then we walked around searching for huckleberry bushes and started picking. We picked for about an hour only got a largeg cool whip bucket full, then Austin started getting cranky.... so it was time to leave. It was a ton of fun, even Austin enjoyed picking, and I got some really great pictures of father and son. Austin climbing up the hill.... you can see Dallas in the background picking already.

(above) So Austin's birthday was on Friday, Thursday night I made his leggo cake. In fact Linda and I were up till 3am frosting this cake! That night we decided to put the cakes in the room we call the "playroom" it is a room where the grandkids play when they come over, but Austin doesn't play in the there yet, so it is always dark and he hardly goes in there. SAFE right? NOT. Austin hadn't even been up for 10 mins, when I looked around to see where he was. He had gone into the dark room pushed this yellow chair over to the ironing board, and pulled off the marshmellow on his cake. Then proceeded to the door jam, with blue frosting on his lips and said " yum"!! Linda and I were just shocked... it was the funnest thing ever!

July 17th: we spent most of the day at Lisa's for Austin's B-Day. Planned the day before, we called the cousins and invited them to come over for a BBQ - pool and Cake! We had a great time - Thank you Lisa! I can't believe he is two already, it really does go by fast. Austin is such a joy: he is such a BUSY boy. He is always going and never seems to stop, even when he is sleeping. 95% of the time the first thing out of his mouth when he wakes up is either "walk" "ride 4-wheeler" or "tool". He amazes us everyday. Austin is learning his ABC's - he will repeat them after you. And we are also potty training.. going slow but good.

Next morning, playing with his new toys. Between Lisa, grandma J and mommy and daddy. Austin got enough tools to go to work with his daddy and not have to borrow much!! I can't believe how realistic these tools are, from hammers to the drill. Its so cool! He is in heaven!

4th of July

The Dilley clan went to McCall, Idaho for the fourth of July this year! It was hot, had a crazy thunder storm one night, went four wheeling for two days, went floating down a lazy river, watch a great firework show on the lake and still needed at least one more day! Brian, Carly, and Aven came up from Provo. Dallas' sister Linley and her husband Kasey came down from Seattle. Then Grandma and Grandpa Dilley and of course Dallas, the kids and I !!

Fun weekend

Saturday was a graduation party for our niece, Shilo Lee. The little kids were swimming..... and Austin got a dose of his own medicine!! Levi got a hold of the hose first and right away went after Austin. It was so funny watching them chase each other with the hose.

Austin definitely had his far share of accidents Saturday. The first round happened on the slide. He got out of the pool, and ran straight to the slide and tried to climb up it. I didn't see what happened, but according to the cousins he slipped and some how hit the back of his head, and then the front above his brow. That is when I heard him start to cry and watched him fall to the ground screaming. So after some loves and a cupcake, he went out to play again not even ten minutes later.... Round Two - the finals! The swings are made up of a really thick rubber tire. Just as cousin Ryan was pushing it, Austin ran right into hitting in the same exact spot on his forehead. He was out.... Poor little guy.

Friday was a very hot day (90), so after some grocery shopping I decided to go to Lisa's house and let Austin play with his cousins and go swimming! We had a blast... Lisa has two non-school kids at home so Ryan, who is 4 played with Austin while Levi (2) took his nap. First was the trampoline. The boy is so white he shines!!

Weekend in Seattle

Dallas and I drove to Seattle a couple weekends ago and met my parents there on Friday to go to a couple of Mariner's games. Did I mention we had NO KIDS that weekend! I was hard to leave them, especially miss pais, but it was wonderful.... to sleep in uninterrupted!! The Mariners played the Minnesota Twins, we went to the Friday and Saturday games. The highlight of the whole weekend was my dad catching a foul ball, which was hit by one of the Twins biggest power hitters!! We were sitting on the third base side in the second deck, Dallas and I had been joking with eachother the whole time on whether or not we would protect each other from a foul ball! So mom got up to go to the bathroom, and then here comes this perfect hit!! Before we knew it Dad had caught it right in the gut!! It was so awesome..... then came mom back from the bathroom! hahaha After the game we walked down to Iver's restaurant down on the water for early anniversary dinner, then mom and dad left and Dallas and I went to Dallas' sister, linley's place. Where we stayed the night and then came home Sunday evening. Linley's husband Kasey is attending U of W - Dental program. Sunday we went to a huge park and just walked around. It was so beautiful, it had the hugest rhodadendrum trees.... they were amazing.

I finally have flowers that have come into bloom! My Lillacs... do you see the huge bumblebee in the center? He was so cool, I only wish I was better with a camera and could have really gotten a great a shot- oh well( need mom here to capture the moment!) Then my bleeding heart, I thought I had O.D ed it last year on miracle grow- so when it came back this year I was so excited.

Austin loves bananas... if fact he ate 3 in a row... is that too much? A potassium over load or something!!

Then my cute little girl, who is now three months old. Crazy how time flys. she is pretty much sleeping through the night now. She is down for good around 10pm and then gets up at about 4:30am. Every once and a while she gets up before then but not often. Then she is up by 8am to conquer another day!

Potty Training..... The other day Austin was grabbing at his diaper and saying "pee-pee" well I thought he had already gone so I wasn't thinking much of it. But he was being persistent- took his diaper off and ran to the bathroom. So I thought, ok lets go check it out. Sure enough he sat on the potty and went pee!! I was so excited.. he has gone 3 times since Friday. We still have a LONG ways to go, but its a start!

The fertilizer "KING". Dallas has been obsessed about weed and feed and spraying fertilizing.... everywhere. So we better have a beautiful yard this year... or else! I personally think he just likes riding his 4-wheeler around, especailly with the sprayer on the back. Hmmmmm.... sound like some else we know!?!

Well I missed it with the camera, but Paislee rolled over twice tonight from her belly to back. I had put her on the floor, then went to the window to watch Austin and Dallas, when I turned around she was on her back. So I flipped her back over and sure enough she did it again! By the time I grabbed the camera she was fussy and wouldn't roll over again... but she did do it!

Miss Paislee is almost three months old ( 25th). She is coming out of the newborn baby look. She is smiling and cooing all the time now and really starting to show her personality. Can you believe I took these pictures with my cell phone!? Our digital died on us, so we currently don't have a camera, I was totally bummed. But a friend showed me how to email myself the pictures so I did and was amazed at how well they turned out!

A day full of Dr. appointments. Wednesday morning I had my last post delivery check up.. all is well! Then the kids both had check ups. My mom came down for the day to help me - thank goodness, I couldn't have done it by myself. Austin lucked out and didn't have to have any shots. At 22 months, he is 35 inches tall and 29 lbs- he is in the 90th percentile for his age. Dr. Suzie can't get over how strong he is and always tells me that he will be a great athlete with his strong built.. so we are counting on it! Miss Paislee wasn't so lucky :( She had her first set of shots. She weighted in at 12 lbs 9 oz. and 22.5 inches tall. Other than her loud nasally breathing she is healthy and beautiful, and she is in the 75th percentile. I'm so thankful to have healthy, strong beautiful children.

So on this special Mother's Day, a huge Thankyou to my mom - who is always there for me. Thankyou to my mother in-law, who puts up with just as much crap from me as my own mother does. It was Sunday, the day after the BBQ. We had just got home from church and Austin wanted to play outside, but Dallas and I weren't up to going out. We all got changed, Dallas opened the front door and just left it opened so that Austin could wonder in out as he pleased. After a while he was pretty quiet, Dallas got up to investigate and this is what he found. Austin had found his camping chair, pull it out and was just chillin' watching the sunset! Dallas came running inside, grabbed the camera and captured the moment.

Cold Day for a BBQ

Dallas' sister Lisa and her 12 kids came out last Saturday, after a track meet, and join us for a BBQ. Although the weather was cold and rainy we all had a blast. Dallas let the kids ride the 4-wheeler , while Lisa and I sat back and watched around the "roasting marshmellow" firepit. Even Levi, lisa's youngest, and Austin enjoyed riding... in fact it was difficult to pull them off at times. There were a few times, when we heard, " hey mom look at Levi". Sure enough the little stinker would be running full speed down the driveway after the 4-wheeler... not far behind would be younger cousin Austin. Its amazing how fast those little guys are!

Quiet usually = Trouble!

This is Austin the "Clown". I was making frosting, left to go feed Paislee, he was awfully quiet. So when I got up to investigate, this is what I found. He got in to the food coloring. His lips, chin, and neck were all stained... this happened Saturday night. Yup, he was still color full for church the next day!

No he's not in time out! It was time for bed, as we do every night, I told him " lets go get our pj's on". He takes off running to the bedroom and I usually follow. Well I got distracted ( image that) and didn't follow. About 1/2 later I realized Austin never came back from the bedroom, when I went to check it out he was in the hall way half way naked. His diaper was so heavy that it was falling off of him and his little crack was showing it was really cute.

He has now mastered climbing up and over Paislee's " wall of DEFENSE" and into her swing. The only way to keep Pais safe in her swing was to put this play pen up around her. Now, as Dallas says, "her wall has been breached"!

Once again, into the frosting! He climbed up into his highchair and was eating the frosting out of the container that was left out on the counter! Good thing I didn't need anymore.

AAAWWWW... the enjoyed silence. This is when he is perfect and silence is enjoyed. Nap time with "blue".

Our Beautiful Baby girl. We had a wonderful weekend with all of my family that joined us for Paislee's blessing on Easter Sunday. It was a very special day, and with it being Easter made it even more. Dallas is such a wonderful husband and father - he gave such a precious blessing. Miss Paislee has started to show her pretty smile, it just happen that grandma had the camera ready to go!

I packed up the car and took the kids for a little road trip to Pasco this last week. It was Paislee's first trip and she slept right thru it... image that! My parents have a little wild life sanctuary going on in their back yard. They have 4 squirrels, a pheasant, and several different kinds of birds that all come on a daily basis and eat out of the several different feeders that they have put out for them. I didn't get any pictures of the squirrels, but here are some finches that were right outside the window. There is a red, brown and yellow finch.. they are so pretty.

One Month Old

Crazy how time flys by. I can't believe our little girl is already a month old. She is now 10lbs 12 oz- there's no denying that she eats well! Nights are still a struggle, at least for me it is. The last few nights she has been getting up every 2-3 hrs, which makes for a very long night... its a good thing she sleeps good thru the day so I can take a nap with Austin. She hasn't peeled at all like most newborns do, she has an outie for a belly button-which I think is way cute- she has baby acne really bad, has some very expressive faces, and she knows how to fill her diaper. Can you please explain to me how such a cute little girl can have such an explosion that poo goes up her back to the base of her neck! I mean she doesn't even use her diaper- just up and out it goes, every morning, no matter if she is laying down or on her belly! So for now I don't try and understand it... I just anticipate the poo mess!

NEVER A DULL MOMENT WITH LITTLE BOYS

First nice day with warm weather...48 degrees! Austin loves being outside, so I bundled him up and while Paislee was asleep we went out for a while. Austin on the four wheeler, helping Dallas with chores.

Since the snow is melting, our driveway is full of puddles and mud.

Water + mud = very wet and dirty boys! So it was off to the tubby after running through the puddles that were up to his ankles. He went inside screaming because he wasn't ready to go in. It didn't matter that he was freezing, soaking and covered in mud!

After a long day, no nap and energy spent out side... he slept through dinner! We all hear the stories of kids falling asleep while eating their dinner, and I couldn't wait till that precious moment happened to one of my kids. Then it did. One moment he was wide awake showing no sign of stopping, then I turn around to heat something up in the microwave. By the time I turned around he was out cold. He stayed asleep for about 20 minutes before he kind of woke up asking for a bottle! Dallas and I were laughing so hard.

This tub usually has all his toys in it. Lately, he dumps it out , pulls it closer to the couch, crawls in and watches tv with us.

It is so funny so watch Austin climb on Dallas and then try to ride him like a bull, hand up all! Its amazing how observant kids are... at any age.

Life is getting easier: Thank goodness. As bedtime rolls around each night, I just pray that Austin will sleep through the night and not be woken up by his sister, and that I will get more than 3hours of sleep! ( man I miss sleep) The last few nights have been great. Austin is usually in bed around 8:30 - 9pm , Paislee isn't that far behind him. She has only gotten up a couple of times just to eat and then fall right back asleep. My ears are quickly adjusting to new baby sounds and I'm not so paranoid about every sound she makes. I'm getting around a lot easier also. It's hard not to be able to play with Austin, as in run around and wrestle with him. I can't even pick him up, which is even harder. But at least we are starting to get back on a schedule... at least most days!

Austin was jumping off his fire truck.. little show off!

Well Dallas went back to work today and I don't know how he did it. Last night was a very long night for our little family. Austin woke up first around midnight, I got up and sat next to his crib patting his back. Then 20 minutes later Paislee woke up, which then re-awoke Austin, so Dallas took Austin and I went into the front room with miss Paislee. From then on Paislee thought she had to nurse every 40 minutes for the next 3 hours, while Austin was in and out of it. It was about 4am when I finally went to sleep on the couch with Paislee in the swinger when Dallas came out to fill up Austin's bottle, which told me Austin was still being a pill. By 6 Dallas was out the door on his way to work... poor daddy. He has been such a trooper since I've been in the hospital and now at home. He has totally taken over night duty with Austin, so thanks hunny!

We had Paislee sitting in the sun light ( because she is starting to look a little jaundice). She looked so pretty with the sun hitting her just right I had Dallas grab the camera to capture our pretty little girl!

Wednesday, February 25, a very long and joyous day for the Jenkinson household. It all began at 3:30 am when I got up to get ready go to the hospital. Dallas had gotten up at about 4 to walk into the bathroom and find me doing my hair and makeup. " what the heck are you doing? Your going to go have a baby not shopping!" I just looked at him and smiled. I just thought, well heck I'm not going to be laboring at all so why can't I looked pretty!? So anywazs, by ten to 5am we were out the door and on our way to the hospital. Once at the hospital we checked in, got dressed down and walked down to the operating room at 7am. I jumped up on the operating table to get preped for a spinal. While the doctors worked on my spinal I watched the tech nurse prep all the surgery tools and get the supplies ready for surgery. Its amazing how many tools are used for one proceedure! Once the spinal was done I had to quickly lay down because my legs got really heavy and I couldn't move... it was amazing how fast it worked. Then, Sharon, my doctor came in and wanted to get going... and she did. In fact I got sick from the spinal drugs and threw up.... Sharon had already started to cut!! I immediatly felt better , but to look over at Dallas, who was sweating and really pale. He quickly got up and went in to a little waiting that is connected to the room, just as Paislee was coming out. A short moment later, Dallas came back in to help get Paislee cleaned up and bring her to me before they went to the nursery for a bath. During this time, we heard someone stumble and "WHACK" the student nurse observing hit the floor and was out! Needless to say it was a very interesting delivery! The only reason Dallas felt queasy was becuase I kept asking him to look, and well he did! After a few hours of recovery and Paislee getting cleaned up in the nursery, Dallas finally brought her in to me and it was the end of a wonderful day.

Family Picture with the three of us,soon to be four! Rachel 8 months pregnant. Well I decided that since I'm no longer working and child #2 is coming tomorrow ( a day early ) I had better get on the wagon with everyone else and get a blog going! So here we are. I went to my sister in-laws house so she could get me started and then that way I could add pictures of Pasilee while I'm in the hospital for 3 days doing nothing!! I was scheduled for a C-Section on Thursday, the 26th. As I pulled up to Lisa's house I recieved a phone call from my Dr telling me that there had been a major mix up with the scheduling in labor and delivery and that I was scheduled for March 26th... not the Feb 26th. So I was bumped a day early because the schedule is full until the middle of March! So after a moment of shock and excitement I decided I had better call Dallas and the family to change plans!! In the meantime, I have at least one picture posted and more will be coming!
